Description
Description
Epoxy Black Strong Tee Hinges deliver robust support for heavier doors and gates. The extended, rigid strap spreads load across the door face to minimise sagging, while the tough baked-on black coating provides durable corrosion and scuff resistance. Ideal for sheds, gates, stores and outbuildings where a stronger hinge is required. Supplied in pairs across longer, heavy-duty sizes.
Key Features & Benefits
- Heavy-Duty Build: Rigid strap and fixed pin for dependable support on larger leaves.
- Durable Epoxy Finish: Hard-wearing black coating for long-lasting protection and smart appearance.
- Load Distribution: Wide strap reduces door drop and improves alignment over time.
- Smooth Action: Formed knuckle for consistent opening and closing.
- Supplied in Pairs: Matched set sized for one opening.

- Fix strap to door first, then align and secure the frame leaf; check for free swing and clearance.
Limitations & Precautions
- For very heavy or high-traffic gates, use appropriately rated heavy-duty hinges and coach screws.
- In harsh coastal environments, consider additional protection or stainless hardware.
- Always use suitable fixings for the substrate and periodically check tightness.
