Delivery & Returns

All UK mainland orders of over £75.00, including-VAT, are delivered FREE! Order values under £75.00, including-VAT, will attract a flat rate delivery charge of £7.50, including-VAT. 

We aim to dispatch all orders received by 3pm the same working day, the majority of which will be delivered next working day (although not guaranteed) for stocked items. Certain areas of UK are subject to 2 – 5 days delivery, e.g. Northern Scotland. Deliveries outside the UK mainland will be charged at cost. If you would like to check the area you wish us to delivery to, confirm timeframe & costs, please contact us on 0800 111 4898.

Working days are Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday's 8am to 4.30pm, excluding Public Bank Holidays.

We offer deliveries to site addresses, at no extra cost, so please ensure you inform us of your required delivery address when placing your order. We use external couriers for all our deliveries, therefore, a signature may be required. Please also provide a contact telephone number for our couriers.

If an item ordered is out of stock we will notify you immediately, with a date for delivery and an offer for an alternative product or we can refund you in full.

If you are not completely satisfied with the products you ordered, you have the statutory right under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to return item(s) ordered within 14 days. You will be liable to any charges incurred when returning the goods to DIY Refurb unless the return is as a result of an error on our part.

If the goods are such that cannot easily be returned via the post, please contact us for further information on 0800 111 4898 or email If the return of an item or items would have rendered your order below our minimum order value for free delivery, then the relevant delivery charge will be deducted from the applicable refund.

Refunds for returned items will only be made when the item(s) have been received and are in resaleable condition. The refund is usually made within 14 days from the date the item(s) has been received by us into our warehouse from the external couriers.

Due to storage conditions, we are unable to accept returns on the following items.

All returns will be subject to a 15% re-stocking charge. 



In the UK you have the right, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, to cancel your order within 7 working days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 will be processed in accordance with your legal rights. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a duty to take reasonable care of products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund for the purchase price of the products. If you are not at home when we attempt to collect the goods we reserve the right to deduct from your refund of charge your debit / credit card the direct costs to us for the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Damaged or Faulty Products

If any product is damaged or faulty upon receipt, we may offer an exchange or refund as appropriate, in accordance with your legal rights. Upon receipt of the goods, the delivery MUST be signed as "Damaged".  We will then be notified of the damages so we can investigate further with our couriers. Providing the damage is not due your negligence, we will provide either a replacement product or a full refund. Replacements are provided at no extra cost to you. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you believe a product is faulty you should contact us on 0800 111 4898 or email to arrange return / collection of the product as instructed. We aim to process any applicable refunds within 14 days of receipt of the goods at our warehouse. Please note that for security reasons we cannot refund a different card to the one you made the original purchase with and we can only send out replacement product(s) to the address used in your original order. If the damage to a faulty product is deemed to be malicious, no refund will be made.


In the extremely rare event that we may recall a product or products, you agree to cooperate fully with us and will provide all reasonable assistance as required by us.
