Find the right jigsaw blades for every cut and material. Choose HCS for softwood and plastics, HSS for thin metals, long-life bi-metal for mixed use, and carbide/TCT for abrasive boards, fibre-cement and tiles. Select tooth patterns to match the job: coarse TPI for fast rip cuts in timber, fine TPI for burr-free metal, reverse-tooth/clean-cut for chip-free laminates and worktops, and progressor blades for mixed thickness. Narrow blades excel at tight curves; wider blades track straighter for plunge and rip cuts. Most blades are T-shank to fit popular saws.
