The TIMCO Steel Wire Wool - Coarse is a flexible abrasive wool designed for cleaning, smoothing and preparing wood, paint and metal surfaces before applying lacquers, varnishes and paints. Supplied in a 200g bag, it is a practical choice for woodworkers, decorators, craftsmen and general preparation tasks where a more abrasive grade of wire wool is required.
Made from durable steel wire, this coarse grade wire wool is suitable for working into edges, corners, shaped profiles and detailed areas that can be difficult to prepare with standard abrasive sheets. It can also be used with compatible chemical stripping compounds, making it useful for surface cleaning, paint preparation and refinishing work on suitable wood, painted and metal surfaces.
