Flexible Two-Component Waterproof Coating for Foundations and Retaining Walls
Mapei Mapelastic Foundation is a two-component, flexible cementitious mortar formulated for waterproofing concrete surfaces exposed to ground moisture and water. Designed for foundation walls, retaining structures, lift pits, and concrete basements, it forms a continuous waterproof membrane that bridges cracks and resists water pressure from the positive side. Ideal for both new construction and refurbishment, it offers reliable long-term protection against moisture ingress in below-ground environments.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Waterproof Protection: Effectively resists positive water pressure in below-ground applications.
-
Flexible & Crack-Bridging: Bridges static cracks up to 0.8 mm, reducing the risk of water ingress through fissures.
-
Excellent Adhesion: Bonds securely to concrete, render, masonry, and cementitious screeds.
