Protective Coating for Weathered or Carbonated Lead Flashings
Kingfisher Lead Flashing Paint is a specialist high-bond acrylic coating designed to restore the appearance of aged leadwork while protecting it from future staining and environmental degradation. Ideal for use on lead flashings that have not been treated with patination oil and have developed a dull, white surface due to carbonation or pollutants.
Unlike general-purpose coatings, this formulation delivers excellent adhesion directly to weathered lead, forming a durable, flexible film that resists cracking, peeling, and moisture ingress. It revitalises tired lead surfaces with a consistent, coloured finish—perfect for maintaining aesthetics on listed buildings, heritage sites, or contemporary architecture.
