GoPoxy User Manual
GoPoxy Poly Grout (White) is a two-part polyaspartic-based, UV-resistant grout that keeps light colours bright without yellowing. The no-mess peel-off formula minimises residue and cleanup time while delivering a dense, waterproof, stain-resistant finish for residential and commercial tiling.
Each tube includes 1 mixing nozzle. GoPoxy Tool Kit required for application. Don’t have one? Grab it here – GoPoxy Toolkit.
Why Choose GoPoxy Polyurea?
-
Fully UV-resistant: Maintains bright white and light tones—no yellowing.
-
Fast cure: Surface dry in ~1 hour; fully cured in under 8 hours (conditions dependent).
-
No-mess peel-off cleanup: Removes easily with minimal detergent, no haze.
-
Waterproof & durable: Dense, non-porous, stain- and chemical-resistant finish.
-
Crack & mold resistant: Solid, non-porous joint resists growth and micro-cracking.
-
Versatile: Walls, floors, mitred edges; ceramic, porcelain and glass tiles.
-
Low-VOC, solvent-free: Eco-considerate and non-hazardous.
How to Use
Preparation
- Ensure joints are clean, dry and free of adhesive.
- Protect porous or textured tiles with priming wax or masking tape.
- Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Mixing & Application
- Open the sealed packaging only when ready to apply (material begins to set on air exposure).
- Insert the cartridge into a compatible grout gun and attach the mixing nozzle firmly.
- If too viscous, warm the cartridge in hand-hot water for 5–10 minutes (do not overheat).
-
Discard the first ~40 cm to ensure full component mixing.
- Apply slowly to fully fill joints; use GoPoxy finishing tools for a smooth profile.
Curing
-
Working time: limited—work continuously once dispensing begins.
-
Surface dry: ~1 hour
-
Full cure: <8 hours (temperature/humidity dependent)
Important vs. GoPoxy Epoxy Grout
-
Polyurea is UV-resistant (won’t yellow); epoxy is not.
-
Polyurea must be used in one go: once exposed to air it will set and cannot be reused (even with a new nozzle).
- Polyurea may be warmed gently for easier dispensing; do not heat epoxy.
Storage
- Store at 8–18 °C in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
- Do not smoke or use near open flame.
Suitability & Limitations
- Not ideal for mosaics (time/cost) or very porous stone (e.g., sandstone).
- Work efficiently to avoid solidifying product in the tube.
Aftercare
- Clean with pH-neutral products only; avoid acidic/alkaline cleaners.
- Routine gentle cleaning helps maintain colour and finish.
PPE & Safety
- Read the instructions fully before use; keep away from children/animals.
-
Eye/face: Safety glasses with side protection (BS EN ISO 16321-1:2022).
-
Hands: Protective gloves (BS EN ISO 374). Replace at first signs of wear.
-
Skin/body: Protective clothing as task requires (e.g., apron BS EN 14605:2005+A1:2009; footwear BS EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024).
-
Respiratory: If ventilation is poor, use a mask (BS EN 136) with A2-P2 filter (BS EN 14387). For atmospheres beyond filter limits or <17% O2, use SCBA per BS EN 137/138.
