Trade Floor Lacquer Single Pack is a pre-catalysed, single pack solvent-based lacquer developed for internal wooden floors. Designed to provide a beautiful, tactile and durable finish, it is ideal for lower traffic areas where a clear protective coating is needed without the complexity of two-pack mixing.

Ready to use straight from the tin, this lacquer offers the convenience of a single pack formulation while still providing good durability, plus moisture and chemical resistance. It is also isocyanate free and hydrocarbon free, making it a safer modern alternative for interior wood floor finishing.

Application Instructions

• Surface Preparation: Remove loose dust and dirt. Ensure all surfaces are grease free, sanded and ready to coat, then wipe with white spirit.
• Base Coats: Ideal for use over Trade Coatings Wood Stain, or for coat-on-coat application with a light sand between coats.
• MDF Use: If applying on MDF, use Trade Coatings MDF Sealer first as a base coat.
• Application: Suitable for brush, roller or spray application.
• Overcoating: Allow at least 30 minutes drying time before sanding and overcoating, with longer times below 18°C.
• Spray Guidance: For airless spray use a 1.7mm or 1.8mm nozzle. Thin with Trade Coatings Thinner if required.

Curing & Aftercare

• Achieves full durable hardness over a period of a few weeks.
• During this period, clean using a damp soft cloth or mop.

Storage & Safety

• Store indoors, away from direct sunlight, in the original container.
• Keep in a dry place between 5°C and 40°C.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• For professional use only.
• Wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling.
