Description
High-Strength Damp Proofing Cream for Treating Rising Damp in Masonry
Dryzone DPC Injection Cream is a patented, high-performance silane/siloxane-based damp proofing cream designed to treat rising damp in brick, stone, and mortar walls. It’s quick to install, clean to handle, and provides a reliable, long-lasting chemical damp-proof course (DPC) after curing. Suitable for use in both renovation and remedial projects, Dryzone offers a BBA-approved solution that penetrates deeply to stop moisture rising through capillary action.
Key Features & Benefits
- BBA Approved: Independently tested and certified (Certificate No. 97/3363).
- Effective Damp Control: Prevents moisture movement in porous masonry via capillary action.
- No Spillage or Waste: Supplied in 600ml foil sausages for clean, efficient application with a standard applicator gun.
- Fast Installation: Drill-only application – no need for high-pressure injection systems.
- Long-Term Solution: Forms a permanent damp-proof course after curing.
Product Details

- Pack Size: 600ml foil sausage
- Coverage: Approx. 1 sausage per 5 metres of 9” solid wall (dependant on wall thickness)
- Form: Cream
- Colour: White (turns translucent as it penetrates)
- Application Tools: Standard 600ml caulking gun or Dryzone applicator
Application Instructions
- Drill Holes: Drill horizontally into the mortar course at 120mm centres, typically 150mm above ground level.
- Inject Cream: Use an applicator gun to inject cream into each hole from the back to the front in one continuous motion.
- Allow to Cure: The cream will migrate into the surrounding masonry and cure to form a chemical DPC.
- Replaster: Use a salt-resistant render to finish the internal walls after treatment if required.
Limitations
- Do not apply to saturated walls – ensure minimal moisture and no standing water.
- Only suitable for masonry substrates – not for timber or gypsum-based surfaces.
Health & Safety
Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear gloves and eye protection during application. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for complete safety information.
