Description
Surface Salt Neutraliser for Brick, Concrete & Masonry Substrates
Biokil Crown Antisulphate is a ready-to-use surface treatment formulated to neutralise harmful salts — particularly sulphates, nitrates, and chlorides — commonly found in masonry affected by rising damp. Applied before re-plastering or tanking, it helps prevent salt migration into new finishes, thereby reducing the risk of efflorescence, plaster failure, and staining. It is ideal for use on brick, concrete, blockwork, and stone after damp-proofing or membrane removal.
Key Features & Benefits
- Neutralises Salt Contamination: Chemically converts soluble salts to reduce long-term damage and staining.
- Improves Plaster Adhesion: Prevents reactivation of salts that could compromise new finishes.
- Ready to Use: Supplied pre-mixed for quick and easy application with brush or spray.
- Essential for Re-Plastering: Use after installing DPC systems or removing old contaminated plaster.
- Wide Substrate Compatibility: Suitable for brickwork, concrete, render, and stone.
