Trade Ultra V1 is a rapid-curing high-performance sealer resin uniquely formulated to harden when exposed to both natural and synthetic UV light. Designed for demanding exterior repairs, it can be used to overlay existing GRP roofs, repair damaged sections, seal new flat roof surfaces and help prevent leaks in roof and gutter maintenance applications.

This ready-to-use resin is peroxide free, quick drying and highly flexible once cured. The technical data sheet highlights that no primer is needed and that Ultra V1 offers excellent adhesion to a range of common substrates including timber, masonry and metal, making it a versatile option for external repair and sealing work.

Product Details

• Appearance: Light Blue.
• Usage: External sealer on various surfaces.
• Application Method: Brush or roller.
• Cure Time: Approx. 5 minutes, depending on UV levels.
• Shelf Life: 6 months when stored correctly.

Application Instructions

• Preparation: Use in a well-ventilated area before starting work.
• Timber Repairs: If repairing over rotten timber, replace the damaged wood first to prevent damp issues beneath the resin.
• Application: Pour the required amount onto the surface; once exposed to UV, curing will begin.
• Spreading: Spread with a brush or roller. If reinforcing with fibreglass, push the fibreglass or woven mat into the resin and cover with more resin until the surface is smooth and uniform. 
• Working Time: You have a couple of minutes to make adjustments before the product hardens, depending on UV intensity.

Storage & Safety

• Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, preferably below 30°C. 
• Keep containers in a cool, ventilated place away from ignition sources.
• The product is classified as flammable.
• Wear protective gloves, clothing, eye protection and face protection.
