Kingfisher Kolourseal is a high-performance styrene acrylic polymer coating engineered to restore, protect, and transform faded or weathered roof surfaces. Designed specifically for concrete tiles, clay tiles (excluding Rosemary), artificial slate, and certain cement fibre sheets, this durable coating extends the life of roofing materials by at least 10 years.

The advanced micro-porous formulation allows trapped moisture to escape from the substrate, preventing blistering, delamination, and adhesion failure—while remaining fully waterproof against mass rainwater penetration. Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean the roof surface using a pressure washer. Remove all moss, algae, lichen, dirt, and surface grime.
2. Biocidal Wash: After drying, apply Kingfisher Biocidal Wash to inhibit future growth of moss, algae, and lichen. Allow to dry fully before proceeding.
3. Repairs: Replace any cracked or broken tiles. Secure all loose elements. Point ridge tiles where necessary using a suitable mortar.
4. Masking: Use masking tape or sheeting to protect skylights, solar panels, gutters, fascias, and other fixtures from overspray or brush marks.
5. Application: Apply Kolourseal using a brush or airless sprayer. Stir thoroughly before use. Two coats recommended for best performance, with 2–4 hours between coats.
6. Post-Application: Avoid application if rain is forecast within 24 hours. Ensure adequate ventilation during and after use.
