Mapei Topcem Pronto is a ready-to-use, pre-blended, fast-setting and drying screed mortar that simplifies site work and guarantees consistent performance. It is ideal for the formation of bonded, unbonded, and floating screeds where fast turnaround is critical. Supplied in 25kg bags, Topcem Pronto eliminates the need for on-site mixing of aggregates, ensuring high mechanical strength, minimal shrinkage, and screeds ready to receive ceramic tiles after 24 hours and resilient or wood flooring after 4 days.

Application Instructions

1. Substrate Prep: Substrate must be clean, stable, and free from contaminants. Prime bonded applications with Mapei Eco Prim T Plus or similar.
2. Mixing: Add 1.7–1.9L of clean water per 25kg bag. Mix using a forced-action mixer or paddle until uniform.
3. Apply Screed: Place and level using standard screeding tools. Compact to ensure density and uniformity.
4. Curing: Protect from rapid drying and extreme temperatures during initial set.
5. Flooring: Ensure surface is dry and tested before installing moisture-sensitive floor finishes.

Limitations

• Do not mix with additional aggregates or binders.
• Not suitable for application under 35mm thickness unless fully bonded.
• Do not apply below +5°C or in conditions of excessive humidity.
