Mapei Mapegrout Fast-Set is a high-performance, rapid-setting, fibre-reinforced, shrinkage-compensated cementitious repair mortar designed for structural concrete restoration. Formulated for horizontal and vertical repairs, it allows traffic or further work just hours after application, making it ideal for time-sensitive civil engineering, infrastructure, and industrial flooring projects. Suitable for thicknesses from 10mm to 70mm in a single layer.

Application Instructions

Substrate Prep: Clean and roughen concrete surface. Remove all deteriorated material, dust, oil, and contaminants.

Mixing: Add 3.5–4.0 litres of clean water per 25kg bag and mix with a mechanical mixer until smooth and lump-free.

Application: Apply with a trowel or float in one layer up to 70mm. Compact well to ensure full adhesion.

Finishing: Smooth the surface as required. Protect from rapid drying and rain during initial curing.
Limitations
- Not suitable for pours deeper than 70mm in a single layer — apply in successive layers if needed.
- Do not add cement or admixtures.
- Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C.
