Breathable, Lightweight Renovation Plaster for Damp Walls

Limelite Whitewall One Coat Plaster is a high-performance, lightweight plaster formulated for internal use on walls affected by damp, salt contamination, or where breathability is required. Its unique composition resists moisture while allowing trapped damp to escape, making it ideal for use in refurbishment projects, basement conversions, and heritage buildings.

Suitable for use over Limelite breathable undercoats, traditional solid backgrounds, and lime-based plasters, it simplifies plastering by serving as both a base and finishing coat. It offers excellent workability, salt resistance, and low shrinkage.

Application Instructions

Substrate Preparation: Ensure surface is clean, sound, and free from dust and grease. Dampen high-suction backgrounds.
Mixing: Add clean water to the powder and mix mechanically for 3–5 minutes to a creamy consistency.
Application: Apply by hawk and trowel in one coat at desired thickness (5mm to 25mm). Straighten and rule off.
Finishing: Once firm, finish with a steel trowel or sponge float for a smooth or textured finish.
Drying: Allow sufficient ventilation. Avoid forced drying. Wait 7–10 days before decorating with breathable paints.

Limitations

Not suitable for use over gypsum-based backgrounds or waterproof renders.
Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C.
