Mapei Silancolor Pittura Zero is a high-performance, silicone resin-based paint designed for both interior and exterior applications. It combines excellent water repellence with high breathability, ensuring long-lasting protection against aggressive environmental conditions, moulds, and algae. As part of Mapei's Zero line, the product's entire lifecycle CO₂ emissions are fully offset through certified carbon credits, supporting environmental sustainability.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose or flaking materials. Remove any traces of oil, grease, or old paint. Repair any cracks or damaged areas with suitable Mapei repair mortars.
2. Priming: Apply Silancolor Primer to the prepared surface and allow it to dry for 12–24 hours.
3. Product Preparation: Dilute Silancolor Pittura Zero with 15–20% water and mix thoroughly using a low-speed mixer.
4. Application: Apply the paint using a brush, roller, or spray over the dry primer. Apply two coats, allowing 24 hours between coats under normal conditions.

Limitations

• Do not apply on damp substrates or substrates that are not cured.
• Avoid application if the temperature is below +5°C or above +35°C.
• Do not apply if the relative humidity is higher than 85% or if rain is expected.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean brushes, rollers, and spraying equipment with water before Silancolor Pittura Zero dries.
