Soudal Trade 5 Minute Liquid PU Wood Adhesive is a fast-setting, high-strength polyurethane wood adhesive with D4 water resistance classification. Specially designed for rapid bonding of wood and timber substrates, this liquid adhesive offers a strong, waterproof bond in just 5 minutes. Suitable for interior and exterior joinery, including applications in humid and damp environments.

Application Instructions

1. Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or oil. Lightly dampen one surface for optimal curing.
2. Apply Adhesive: Spread a thin layer evenly on one side using a suitable applicator or nozzle.
3. Assemble & Clamp: Join parts immediately and apply even pressure for at least 10 minutes.
4. Curing: Allow 24 hours for full bond strength to develop. Clean tools with acetone before curing.

Limitations

• Not suitable for use on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or Teflon (PTFE).
• Expansion during curing may affect precision joints — test beforehand on fine tolerances.

Health & Safety

Contains isocyanates. Use appropriate PPE including gloves and eye protection. Ensure good ventilation during application. Refer to the SDS for full safety guidance.
