Old lead discolours, unless it has been protected with Patination Oil, and loses its appearance. The surface stains white with carbonation and other environmental contaminants.
At this point the only solution is to treat it with Lead Flashing Paint. The high bond polymer used gives excellent longevity, colour and adhesion.
