Soudal SILIRUB® 2 is a high-performance, premium-grade silicone sealant designed for a wide range of construction and glazing applications. Its neutral cure formulation provides excellent adhesion without corrosion, making it suitable for use on metals, glass, plastics, masonry, and coated surfaces. It offers permanent elasticity, superior weather resistance, and long-term durability in both interior and exterior environments.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease or dust.
2. Application: Use a standard sealant gun to apply an even bead into the joint.
3. Tooling: Smooth with a suitable tool or spatula within the skinning time.

Limitations

• Not paintable — use in areas where painting is not required.
• Do not use in aquariums or on bituminous substrates.
