Trade Fence, Shed & Barn Paint is a professional-quality exterior wood paint designed to add colour and protection in just one coat. Developed for wooden fences, sheds, barns, cladding and similar timber surfaces, it provides a durable, versatile and easy-to-apply finish for outdoor projects.

This water-based coating uses high-build acrylic polymer resins and works as a primer, undercoat and topcoat in one product. The manufacturer states that it is tough, flexible and durable, with UV resistance, washable performance and strong resistance to cracking and flaking, making it well suited to exposed exterior wood.

Product Details

• Product Type: Exterior wood paint.

Application Instructions

• Surface Preparation: The substrate must be sound, dry and free from oil and grease. Clean with liquid detergent solution, rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
• Organic Growth: Surfaces contaminated with lichen or moss should be brushed clean, treated with Anti-Fungal Wash and allowed to dry.
• Repairs: Carry out any repairs before application.
• Application Method: Suitable for brush, roller or spray application. Dilute with 10% water if spraying.
• Porous Surfaces: For very porous substrates, thin the first coat with 30% water.
• Application Temperature: Apply between 10°C and 32°C. Do not apply below 8°C.
• Curing: Optimum hardness is reached after 2 weeks.

Storage

• Store indoors, away from direct sunlight, in the original container.
• Keep in a dry place between 5°C and 40°C.
• Shelf life is 12 months under recommended storage conditions.
