Deep-Penetrating Treatment for Wood-Boring Insects
Sikagard® Woodworm Killer is a ready-to-use, low-solvent, low-odour solution designed to eradicate all life stages of wood-boring insects, including woodworm. Utilizing micro-fine active technology with added insecticide, it penetrates deep into timber to actively kill and protect against re-infestation. Suitable for interior use, it can be overpainted, stained, varnished, or polished once dry.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation: Ensure timber is clean and free from paint or other surface coatings. Remove any badly infected or structurally unsound timber and replace with sound timber prior to application.

Application: Shake well before use. Apply by brush, spray, or dipping. Apply a minimum of two coats if brushing or spraying. The second coat should be applied after the first coat has soaked in but before it is dry.

End Grain Treatment: Pay particular attention to thoroughly soaking the end grain. Where possible, dip or flood the end grains of the timber for maximum protection.

Drying Time: Allow approximately 1 hour for drying, depending on temperature.
Limitations
- For interior use only; not suitable for external applications.
- Do not use in food preparation areas.
- Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.
- Ready to use – do not dilute.
Cleaning of Tools
Remove as much product as possible from brush or spray equipment and then clean with soapy water.
