Breathable, Salt-Resistant Primer for Plastering onto Smooth or Porous Substrates

Limelite Easy Bond is a pre-blended, breathable primer designed to enhance adhesion and control suction when applying Limelite plasters. It is ideal for use on smooth or low-suction substrates, such as dense masonry, stone, or previously painted surfaces. Its salt-resistant formulation also makes it suitable for damp or salt-contaminated areas, including basements and heritage restoration projects.

• Coverage: Approximately 14–18 m² per 5kg tub

• Working Time: Approximately 15 minutes after mixing
• Storage: Store in sealed original packaging in a dry location at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C. Shelf life is 12 months under proper storage conditions.

Mixing & Application Instructions

1. Mixing: Add 2.5 litres of clean, cool water to 5kg of Limelite Easy Bond. Mix mechanically for 3–5 minutes to achieve a smooth, lump-free consistency.
2. Application: Apply the primer to the substrate using a brush or spray machine approximately 15 minutes before applying the first coat of plaster.
3. Note: Only mix the amount of material that can be applied within the 15-minute working time.

Health & Safety

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, eye protection, and a dust mask during mixing and application. Avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin and eyes. Refer to the product’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed health and handling information.
