Fast-Setting D4 Polyurethane Adhesive for Rapid Bonding

Soudal Trade 5 Minute Liquid PU Wood Adhesive is a fast-setting, high-strength polyurethane wood adhesive with D4 water resistance classification. Specially designed for rapid bonding of wood and timber substrates, this liquid adhesive offers a strong, waterproof bond in just 5 minutes. Suitable for interior and exterior joinery, including applications in humid and damp environments.

Application Instructions

Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or oil. Lightly dampen one surface for optimal curing.
Apply Adhesive: Spread a thin layer evenly on one side using a suitable applicator or nozzle.
Assemble & Clamp: Join parts immediately and apply even pressure for at least 10 minutes.
Curing: Allow 24 hours for full bond strength to develop. Clean tools with acetone before curing.

Limitations

Not suitable for use on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or Teflon (PTFE).
Expansion during curing may affect precision joints — test beforehand on fine tolerances.

Health & Safety

Contains isocyanates. Use appropriate PPE including gloves and eye protection. Ensure good ventilation during application. Refer to the SDS for full safety guidance.
