Biokil Crown Biodry DPC Cream – 5L
High-Performance Injection Cream for Long-Term Rising Damp Protection
Biokil Crown Biodry DPC Cream (5L) is a silane/siloxane-based injection cream developed to stop rising damp in brick, stone, and mortar constructions. Formulated for deep penetration and permanent water repellency, it creates an effective chemical damp-proof course (DPC) once injected into mortar beds. Supplied in bulk for large-scale application, it is ideal for professional use in refurbishment and remedial damp-proofing works.
The cream is odourless, solvent-free, and easy to apply using standard electric or manual injection pumps. It diffuses into the wall substrate and reacts with moisture to form a durable barrier, preventing moisture from rising through capillary action.
Key Features & Benefits

-
Ideal for Large Projects: Supplied in 5L container for efficient application across multiple walls or properties.
-
Low Hazard: Odourless, solvent-free, and suitable for use in occupied buildings.
-
Compatible Substrates: Suitable for solid wall construction including brick, stone, blockwork, and mortar.
Product Details
-
Type: Silane/siloxane-based DPC injection cream
-
Form: Cream
-
Colour: White (becomes translucent during diffusion)
-
Container Size: 5 Litres
-
Coverage: Approx. 41–43 linear metres of 215mm thick solid wall (depending on application method and substrate)
-

Application Instructions
-
Drill Holes: Drill 12mm holes horizontally into the mortar course at 120mm intervals, typically 150mm above ground level.
-
Inject Cream: Use a suitable pump to inject the cream from the back of the hole to the front in one continuous motion.
-
Allow to Cure: The cream will migrate into the surrounding substrate and cure to form an effective DPC.
-
Finishing: Plug holes and apply salt-resistant plaster or render if required.
Limitations
- Do not apply to saturated or waterlogged walls.
- Not suitable for use on gypsum plaster or timber surfaces.
Health & Safety
Wear gloves and eye protection during application. Ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed areas. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.
