Go Ferrous was formulated to remove all types of rust staining from patios, paths, and garden stonework. From iron sulphate in lawn fertilisers to rust marks caused by BBQs, garden furniture, and metal plant pots, this advanced solution penetrates deep into the surface to dissolve rust and green algae that standard cleaners or jet washing can’t shift.

Safe and versatile, our patio rust remover is suitable for Indian Sandstone (excluding Kandla Grey), York Stone, Limestone, Granite, block paving and most other natural or paving slabs.

Unlike harsh acid-based products, Go Ferrous is a clear, acid-free formula made from recycled green-leaf vegetables. It cleans effectively without damaging stone surfaces and can be rinsed away harmlessly over lawns and flower beds.

Directions for Use

1.      Shake the container thoroughly before opening.

2.      Apply directly to the stain by pouring or spraying, then spread evenly with a brush.

3.      Cover the entire slab, ensuring the rust mark is fully saturated with solution.

4.      Leave for 2–3 hours — no fizzing is visible as the cleaner works gradually.

5.      After 6 hours, rinse away with hot water or lightly pressure wash larger areas.

6.      For darker rust stains, allow more dwell time or repeat as needed.

Note: Some slabs may appear lighter after use - this is simply the cleaned surface drying and will return to its natural colour in time. For best results, apply your patio rust remover in cooler evening conditions and reapply if the product dries too quickly.
