Description
The Newton MultiPlug has been designed for use with any of the Newton Membranes in its range, but is usually specified with the Newton 508 Membranes for basement waterproofing.
The 10mm x 60mm MultiPlug comes complete with a fitted rubber sealing grommet, which when fitted into the wall is expanded by the plug head creating a compressed seal against the membrane stopping any water or damp ingress through the plug hole.
It is pre-drilled to accept a size 10 (5mm) self-tapping screw for the fixing of battens or other dry-lining systems.
The Newton MultiPlug is generally fitted at 250mm centres on meshed membranes (15 plugs per m²) or on clear membranes (no mesh) approximately 5 plugs per m².
