Newton 805 Newlath (mesh) Membrane

Newton 805 Newlath (mesh) Membrane, formerly Newlath 2000, is a clear, high density polypropylene, meshed waterproofing membrane that insulates and isolates damp and contaminated walls.

Used above ground as a damp-proofing membrane where a surface key is required for the final wall finish. Its high quality meshed surface provides an excellent substrate for lime mortars, renders, plasters or dabbed plaster board.

Can also be used externally as the render base membrane to timber frame houses and to protect conventionally built properties, which are suffering from penetrating dampness through failed mortar joints.

This Membrane is 0.5mm thick, has a pattern of raised studs linked by reinforcing ribs and is light, clean and easy to handle and is highly resistant to water, alkalis, organic acids, bacteria and fungi. Guaranteed against deterioration for 30 years, has a life expectancy of at least 50 years and is supported by BBA Certification Certificate Number 00/3716.
