Newton 508 Clear with Mesh Membrane

Newton 508 Clear with Mesh Membrane is a clear meshed waterproofing membrane that insulates and isolates damp and contaminated walls, vaults and basements.

Is used where a surface key is required for the final wall finish, with its high quality meshed surface providing an excellent substrate for lime mortars, renders, plasters or dabbed plaster board.

It is made from 0.67mm high density polyethylene, making it the thickest and strongest membrane in its class.

The square pattern of the 8mm studs allows for sharper detailing to corners, around nibs and other protrusions than the diamond stud membranes from other suppliers. When used as part of a below ground waterproofing system, Newton 508 Clear with Mesh Membrane should be used in conjunction with a drainage system. It is guaranteed against deterioration for 30 years, and has a life expectancy of at least 50 years (DIN 9001:2000).
